Why Importers Choose DThai

Choosing the right supplier decides whether your season runs smoothly or turns into a series of phone calls. Here is what we actually offer.

✅ A Short, Direct Supply Chain — we buy from approved mills we know by name, so there is no chain of intermediaries between the farm and your container.

✅ Consistent Product Quality — every lot is checked against the agreed specification before it ships.

✅ Flexible Bulk Supply — container orders from 20FT to 40FT, scaling to standing contracts as volume grows.

✅ Global Shipping, Handled — documentation and freight arrangements managed end to end, across our active export markets.

✅ Custom Packaging — private-label and branded packaging for distributors and retail chains.

✅ Direct Pricing — factory-direct quotes, with better terms for long-term contracts.

✅ Straight Communication — one point of contact, clear timelines, and no surprises on price after the quote.

What You Can Check Before Your First Order

You should not have to take a supplier on trust. Before you commit to volume, we will send:

  • a written specification sheet for the exact grade you are buying (moisture, broken percentage, purity or ICUMSA rating);
  • a pre-shipment sample with a certificate of analysis, so you can test and cook it yourself;
  • our company details and contact person, so you know who you are dealing with;
  • the document set that will travel with your container.

For a first order, we encourage third-party inspection by SGS or an inspector you nominate.

Documentation Done Before the Container Sails

Late or incorrect paperwork is one of the most common reasons containers get held at destination. Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary and fumigation certificates are prepared as the container is loaded, and copies are sent to you straight away.

Clear Terms

Quotations state the price basis (FOB or CIF), loading port, lead time and payment terms in writing. Standard terms are T/T with a 30% deposit and balance against documents, moving to L/C for established buyers.

One Contact From Enquiry to Arrival

You deal with one person throughout: quotation, contract, loading and transit. You can reach us by email at info@dethaiproducts.com or on WhatsApp at +66 81 034 6390.

    Why Choose Us: The Practical Reasons

    Plenty of suppliers say they’re reliable. Here are six concrete reasons importers give us when we ask them why they chose us, and why they keep ordering.

    Why Choose Us: 6 Reasons From Our Buyers

    • The grade on the contract is the grade in the bag. Every lot is tested, and you get the certificate.
    • Independent inspection. SGS or an inspector you name checks the goods before loading.
    • Safe payment. Letter of credit for first orders. No upfront fees, ever.
    • Documents ready before the ship sails. So customs isn’t the thing holding up your shipment.
    • Mixed containers. Rice, sugar and oil in one load if that suits you.
    • Straight answers. If we can’t meet a price for a real grade, we say so.

    Why Choose Us Over a Cheaper Offer?

    Sometimes you’ll find a quote far below ours. Before you take it, ask why it’s cheaper. In rice, it’s often a lower grade, an old crop, or jasmine blended with cheaper rice. In sugar, prices far below the world market are a common sign of a scam. Our guides on spotting blended Hom Mali rice and ICUMSA 45 sugar scams show what to look for.

    A real supplier’s price sits close to the market. You can check the market yourself on the World Bank commodity price data.

    Why Choose Us for Your First Container?

    First orders are where things go wrong most often, so we keep them simple. You get a written quote, a sample, a signed contract, independent inspection and the full document set. If you’re new to importing, start with how to import rice from Thailand.
