Description
Crude Sunflower Oil – Unrefined, Export-Grade
Crude sunflower oil is the raw oil pressed directly from sunflower seeds (Helianthus annuus) before any refining, bleaching, or deodorizing takes place. It retains a deeper amber colour and a pronounced seed aroma, and serves as the base material that refiners, food manufacturers, and industrial buyers process further to suit their own specifications.
At DThai Company Limited, we supply crude sunflower oil in bulk to refiners, biodiesel producers, and food processors who need a consistent, well-documented feedstock rather than a finished retail product.
Product Description
Crude sunflower oil is extracted by mechanically pressing sunflower seeds, with no chemical or thermal refining applied afterward. Because the natural waxes, gums, and free fatty acids are still present, it is not intended for direct retail sale — instead, it is bought as a feedstock for refining into cooking oil, for pressing into margarine and shortening, or for industrial and biodiesel applications.
Buyers typically specify their required free fatty acid (FFA) level, moisture content, and impurity limits at the point of order, since these determine how much processing the crude oil will need downstream.
